  • Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) provides numerous resources including reports, articles, videos and blogs relating to dirty energy sources including oil and natural gas.
  • Physicians for Social Responsibility addresses health concerns associated with hydraulic fracturing including interviews with experts in the field.
  • Physicians Scientists & Engineers for Healthy Energy (PSE) is a nonprofit research and policy institute providing continuing medical education courses and publications around multiple energy issues. They maintain a Shale and Tight Gas Citation Database with links to hundreds of articles published on unconventional oil and natural gas extraction.
  • ShaleTest is a non-profit organization that will collect environmental data, and provide environmental testing to lower income families and neighborhoods that are effected by natural gas exploration.
  • SkyTruth uses satellite imagery and remote sensing data to create maps including the FracFinder maps, focusing on the Marcellus Shale, and an infrared map of natural gas flaring around the world.
